The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Reader G2 Professional (UA-G2-Pro) is a second-generation access control device that combines an NFC card reader with a video intercom. It provides versatile entry options, allowing users to unlock doors using an NFC card, the UniFi Identity mobile application, or a PIN code entered on the screen. When a visitor rings the integrated doorbell, the device activates the intercom and displays a video feed. The camera is designed to function correctly even when mounted at an ADA-compliant height. For installation, the reader connects to a UniFi Access Hub using a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable. With an IP55 rating for rain resistance and an operating temperature range of -10 to 40° C, this reader is suitable for various environments.
