At Office Stash, we work quickly to get your office and school supplies to you efficiently. This policy details our handling, courier partner, delivery speeds, and costs.

 

1. Shipping Partner and Delivery Times

 

We exclusively use The Courier Guy for all national deliveries, ensuring reliable service across South Africa.

Order Processing (Internal) 24 Hours (1 business day) The time to pick, pack, and prepare your order for collection by the courier. Orders placed after our 12:00 PM SAST cut-off are processed the next business day.
Estimated Transit Time (Courier) 1 to 4 Working Days Delivery time begins once The Courier Guy has collected your parcel. The 1-day service is typically for major city centres, while 4 days cover regional/outlying areas.
Total Expected Delivery 2 to 5 Working Days The total time from placing your order to receiving it.

Note: All timeframes refer to business days (Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays). Severe weather or peak periods (like Black Friday or back-to-school season) may introduce minor delays, which we will communicate via email.

 

2. Shipping Costs and Free Shipping

 

Shipping fees are calculated based on the total volumetric weight of your order and your delivery location. The final cost will be calculated and clearly displayed during checkout.

3. Shipping Limitations and Tracking

Destinations

 

  • We only ship to physical addresses within South Africa. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, farms, or international addresses.
  • Certain extremely remote or high-risk areas may incur a surcharge or require collection from the nearest major town depot. If this applies to your address, we will contact you before dispatching your order.

 

Tracking and Delivery Attempts

 

  • Tracking Notification: Once your order is processed and collected by The Courier Guy, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation Email containing your unique tracking number and a link to the courier’s tracking website.
  • Delivery Attempts: The Courier Guy operates during standard business hours (08:00 – 17:00). If you or a nominated person are unavailable, the courier will typically attempt re-delivery or ask you to collect the parcel from a nearby depot. Failure to respond or collect the parcel after reasonable attempts may result in the order being returned to us, and you may be charged for re-shipment.

 

4. Addressing Damaged or Lost Shipments

 

 

Damaged Goods

 

  • If your parcel arrives with obvious damage, please note the damage on the courier’s waybill before signing, or refuse the delivery entirely.
  • You must immediately take photographs of the damaged packaging and product(s) and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange for the collection and replacement of the damaged items at our cost.

 

Lost Parcels

 

  • If your tracking information stalls, or if your package is confirmed lost by The Courier Guy, we will launch an investigation. Upon confirmation of loss, we will either immediately resend your order (stock permitting) or issue a full refund, including the original shipping cost.
